There is a God who answers prayer
Who intercedes before the throne
The Son of God who ever cares
Who walks with us, we’re not alone.
Though flood and pestilence should come
He sees the path that we now tread
His rod and staff will comfort us
He knows the days that lie ahead.
We trust in Him who knows all things
And lift our prayers to heaven above
Our confidence is all in Him
Encompassed by unfailing love.
